What will your wedding soundtrack be? I’m sure you’ve picked your first dance and know your father-daughter song, but what will be played during your rehearsal dinner? While you’re getting ready? At brunch the next day? Audiostiles, the company responsible for “styling” the music that’s piped into Frédéric Fekkai Salons and the Regent Beverly Wilshire, will load your iPod or burn CDs with one-of-a-kind playlists to help you get in the groove well before the band warms up, and long after the encores. An online questionnaire lets Audiostiles know your musical taste, the type of tunes you’re looking for, and how long your custom playlists should be. You can give them as little direction as you like (“Any slow jazz.”) or get into specifics (“Early Abba, but no ‘Dancing Queen.’”). They’ll add new-to-you artists or songs at your request, or stick to those you already know. Listen to the playlists on your anniversary, or any time you want to take a walk down wedding-memory lane—think of them as mixed tapes, for the modern bride and groom.
